Does anyone remember the album Watercourse Way from the American quintet Shadowfax? I don't mean the 1985-CD on the Windham Hill-label (which was partly re-recorded and remixed and had a totalsound that was more suitable for that label), but the original 1976-version, released by Passport Records and co-produced by Larry Fast (a.k.a. Synergy). Listening to this album again (which I bought in 1981) it strikes me that it has a lot in common with the music of HTM, although it's all a whole lot rougher and more dramatic (a sphere created amongst others by the Chamberlin-strings). But listening to the keyboard-patterns and the wind-instruments of the late Chuck Greenberg I sense the same thing I have with the HTM-sound. The original version isn't officially released on CD, although there is a bootleg released by a Japanese label, available through an US-internetshop.
