What's a "mobile phone"?









I must be the only one in Western community who hasn't got a telephone in his pocket yet. Everybody complains about people who talk loudly into them in cafe's, trains, etc, so you can hear all those things of their private lifes you don't want to hear, but of course they would never do that

Yeah, that's one really negative thing about cell phones/mobile phones but there is so many good things with having it. You can always share your favourite Happy or OS melody with everyone at the café.

Most cell phones can be put on "vibrate only". Wonder if the vibrate pattern can be programmed with a tune. Correctly positioned, your cell phone could vibrate a new HTM sensation,

I use the guitar/moog solo section of NYDS as my ringtone for the alarm clock function on my RAZR. When I have a moment I'll post a link to the MP3 I made. It's has never failed to wake me.

I have the more simpler c380 model. A good thing with Motorola is that you can set more than one alarms just in case so I use a bird sample as the first one then a more noisy one as the second. It has never failed so far and I use the above mentioned part of Noodlepoint as the general ringing tone. I often wait a while answering just to hear most of the piece.
Is that sick or what!?
