Today I discovered by coincidence that my copy of The Muse Awakens (which is an official InsideOut-promo) has a different track-order than the normal version. This is the order from the album you all probably have:
01.Contemporary Insanity (3:24)
02.The Muse Awakes (5:36)
03.Stepping Through Time (6:31)
04.Maui Sunset (5:10)
05.Lunch At The Psychedelicatessen (4:59)
06.Slipstream (4:43)
07.Barking Spiders (4:11)
08.Adrift (4:04)
09.Shadowlites (3:52)
10.Kindred Spirits (5:26)
11.Il Quinto Mare (7:22)
My CD has track 4 and 10 the other way around, so on 4 is Kindred Spirits and on track 10 is Maui Sunset. I thought this order was great, because the sea-sounds at the beginning of Maui Sunset seem to give this track a link to the following Il Quinto Mare, which also has the sea-sounds. I also think that placing Maui Sunset after Stepping Through Time is a bit strange; both tracks have a kind of epic feel and both have in fact the only two real guitar-solo's.
By the way, I don't see any difference between the American and the German version.
