Was thinking of the progressive and adventurous compositions HTM has made that are among my favourites ones. Need to say that i think that HTM´s blend of progressive/fusion/ambient is, in one word, perfect. But the adventurous ones have always been closer to my heart. Now a question to you all.

It's gotta be Mr. Mirror's Reflection On Dreams. Not a usual song by any means. But great. Every part. I love the flowing piano parts, even though I'm a bass player. And the spoons! Where did they come up with that? Hilarious. But good as part of a very interesting prog song. Other than that, Broken Waves is pretty cool. I kinda like that yelling part at the end. Even though I have no idea what is said or why they did that. Cool none the less. Cheers.

If you listen carefully, you can also hear the spoons in On Time As A Helix Of Precious Laughs at 01:45.
Or is it some wooden percussion instrument that sounds like spoons? It´s a really great and funny sound, like it alot... Mike Beck was a great source to HtM´s sound i think, at the Crafty sessions there was not that much of the percussion stuff left, that we can hear on Beginnings, Death´s Crown and the first Happy the Man album. Mike was a very creative member of the band, and also the visual focus of the original lineup. Ron was quite visual as well, but a drummer first and foremost whereas Mike was a percussionist who happened to also play drums.
