Thank you so much for the kind words! After I heard Bill's mastering on "The Muse Awakens," as well as his live sound work for Happy the Man at Orion Studios in Baltimore, I wanted to ask him to master the Eddie Jobson tribute CD. Not only is he a top-flight professional, but I knew he would understand the music. Everyone on the project is highly impressed with his work. His mastering raises the sound quality of the album and binds together the CD's various tracks (produced in studios from 9 countries ranging from Russia to Italy to South Africa).
I'm fortunate to live in the same area as Bill. In the summer of 2005, he hosted an awesome live jam in Baltimore. Not only did he rent the space for us, but he provided all sorts of food and refreshments. It was amazing to jam with him and others including Chris Mack.
Incidentally, I am a huge fan of HtM. I agree with Chris Lamka, the legendary proprietor of the prog record shop "Of Sound Mind" that they are hands-down the best prog group that the United States has ever produced.
