(...)Crafty Hands today remains in my all-time top ten. Definitely a desert island disc.
Kudos to producer Ken Scott, who not only resided over this masterpiece, but also was at the helm on another 1978 classic: The Dixie Dregs' "What If". HTM fans: pick this one up. Ken should be proud.
What recent release approaches the genius of Crafty Hands? I would suggest Anglagard's 1994 "Epilog" comes from an extension of what HTM was heading after "3rd Better Late". Epilog is wonderful, filled with a similar love and dedication to creating lasting music.
(...)Finally, I got my Crafty Hands LP free from a radio station. To this day I have not seen another copy in a record store. It is a shame Arista gave up on these guys.
