Please tell something about the sound quality - is there any changes in the mixing etc?
I listened to the 5.1 mix, which is of course a big change. Especially the drums sound very modern, while the acoustic guitar is very clear. Horizons sounds as if it was played in my own room! The surround mix starts quite steady and you'll hear many fragments you never heard before. The Mellotron is very dynamic. In songs like Get' Em Out By Friday and of course Supper's Ready you can hear they've been creating some surround effects with the existing tapes. Characters like John Pebble Of Styx Enterprise and tenants Mrs. and Mr. Pebble come from different channels, while a couple of instrumental (guitar lick or synth-effect) running through a couple of channels.
Being my favorite Gabriel-years album I enjoyed listening to it very much (my girlfriend hated it though and she wasn't even in my music-room).
