Was searching a bit for some info and art of the Crafty Hands album cover artist Mario Grimaldi. I think thats the best looking HTM cover art so far and I really think that the CH cover gives a good hint of what music it includes as well. Who said spacey?
What I dont know is if that painting is done specificely for that album. Has anyone any clue about this? Well here is the only stuff I found and I am not absolutely shure its the right Grimaldi but thats my guess anyway.
MARIO GRIMALDI (1927-1997)
MID CENTURY MODERN ABSTRACT PAINTING. CIRCA 1960S.
PERFECT IN AN EAMES ERA SETTING.
GRIMALDI WAS A GRADUATE OF THE SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS IN MANHATTAN.
HE ALSO ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF MEXICO CITY.
INSPIRED BY SALVADOR DALI,
GRIMALDI WAS KNOWN FOR CREATING GEOMETRIC DESIGNS WITH ILLUSIONS.
HIS PREFERRED MEDIUM WAS ACRYLIC PAINT ON CANVAS.
GRIMALDI WAS ALSO AN INFORMAL TUTOR TO ARTISTS SUCH AS PHILIP ANDERSON
AND HIS STYLE TENDED TOWARD THE ABSTRACT WITH GEOMETRIC SYMMETRY AND HARD EDGES

What do ya think? Is this the Crafty Hands album cover artist?
